ZoomCare, a Portland-based company, was founded and is led by Drs. David Sanders and Albert DiPiero. Drs. DiPiero and Sanders have been friends and colleagues for twenty years. They previously co-founded MyHealthBank, a leading supplier of consumer-driven health care software systems for health insurers, which was acquired by QCSI in 2005, and Salu, an early leader in health care e-commerce, and HealthOregon, a health policy non-profit organization.

Albert DiPiero, MD, MPH, Co-Founder

Dr. DiPiero has served as co-founder and senior executive at MyHealthBank, Salu (Skinstore.com), and the health care policy organization, HealthOregon. Dr. DiPiero has served as Medical Director at Oregon Health and Science University, (OHSU) Health Center – Tigard, Oregon and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at OHSU. Dr. DiPiero graduated from the University of California - San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine in 1991. He completed his internal medicine residency in 1994. Dr. DiPiero has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1994. He received his Masters in Public Health from the UCLA School of Public Health in 1997.

David Sanders, MD, Co-Founder

Dr. Sanders served as the CEO of Salu (Skinstore.com) from 1996-1999 and Chairman through April 2000 before co-founding MyHealthBank in 2000 where he served as CEO through 2002 and Director through 2003. In 2002, he co-founded HealthOregon with Dr. DiPiero. In 2004, Dr. Sanders was named one of the Portland Business Journal’s "40 under 40". Dr. Sanders graduated from the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine in 1991 and completed his internship in family medicine at Harbor-UCLA Department of Family Medicine in 1992.

Jeffrey Katz, MD, Clinical Services

Dr. Jeffrey Katz leads our team of board certified physicians in providing compassionate, quality care for your everyday health needs. Dr. Katz practiced at the Pacific Medical group in Portland from 2005, where he served as the medical director position. He is an alumnus of the Medical College of Virginia's School of Medicine, and completed his residency at the Scottsdale Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Program, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr Katz is also a graduate of the University of Kansas where he was selected for the Phi Beta Kappa National Honors Society. Dr Katz has lived all over the country, and even served as the only physician in remote Cordova, Alaska. He enjoys living in Portland and takes every chance he can to get out into the woods with his family. An avid fan of Apple computers and all things Mac, Dr Katz is quite the technophile.

Mike Bonetto, Strategy and Community

Mike Bonetto brings a singular passion for health care reform through innovation in entrepreneurship, community collaboration and bipartisan public policy. Bonetto is a member of the Federal Laws Committee of the Oregon Health Fund Board, chairs the Central Oregon Health Collaborative and the Deschutes County Public Health Advisory Board, is the former Director of the Oregon Health Policy Commission, and served as the Senior Vice President of Planning & Development for Clear Choice Health Plans. He received a Ph.D. in health policy from Oregon State University.
