Maria has a strong background diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries as well as providing comprehensive annual exams and preventive care to patients of all ages. After gaining her medical degree at Wagner College in New York, Maria spent seven years in emergency medicine at Staten Island University Hospital renowned for pediatric burn care, a trauma center, women's health, and widely-acclaimed programs for high-risk pregnancies and maternal care. Maria now provides expert care at our Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood clinic. Maria holds a BA in Biology from Oregon State University and speaks fluent Vietnamese.
