ZoomCare, the innovative healthcare company that's building the world's first neighborhood and smartphone-based healthcare system, has launched pediatric services at its Bridgeport Village [Bridgeport Village 7421 SW Bridgeport Rd Tigard OR 97224], and Woodstock [4415 SE Woodstock Blvd Portland, OR 97206] locations.
The service, called ZoomCare Kids, offers ongoing wellness visits and vaccines, pediatric chronic care, behavioral consults, and injury and illness urgent care visits for children from 0-18 years old. Mark Banks, MD, MS, FAAP, a board-certified physician in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine, is leading ZoomCare Kids. He spent five years diagnosing and treating critically ill and injured children at Randall Children's Hospital in Portland and was the Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Rocky Mountain Children's Hospital.
"While ZoomCare has treated thousands of children for over seven years, we naturally decided to offer more advanced pediatric services delivered in a convenient and affordable way," said Dave Sanders, MD, CEO and Co-Founder. "We're excited to help Portland kids stay healthy and guide parents through the parenting adventure."
ZoomCare Kids furthers ZoomCare's mission to provide complete care to patients throughout the Portland metropolitan area in the neighborhoods where they live and work. In the past year ZoomCare patients have responded enthusiastically to new care options including physical therapy, naturopathic care, chronic care, dermatology and orthopedics, as well as convenient new services such as pharmacy, laboratory, digital x-ray and midnight hours.
Portland, Oregon based ZoomCare is a privately-held company started in 2006 by David Sanders M.D. and Albert DiPiero M.D.
